Aften McKinney, born Kansas City, Missouri, April 19, 1941; admitted to bar, 1977, Kansas; also admitted to practice before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. District Courts, Western District of Missouri and District of Kansas. Preparatory education, University of Missouri, Kansas City (B.A. 1974); legal education, University of Missouri, Kansas City (J.D. 1976). Member, Johnson County Bar Association.
Aften McKinney recevied her B.A. (1974) and J.D. (1976) degrees at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1977 and subsequently has been admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is also a member of the Johnson County Bar Association.
Ms. McKinney retired from the practice of law on November 15, 2005 and the firm wishes her fun and frivolity with which to enjoy her retirement.
